Dr Jonathan Hughes

Jonathan is the MD at Pennosan®. Prior to establishing Pennosan, Jonathan worked for over 20 years in the Water Treatment chemicals industry including R&D and Strategic Marketing roles at Allied Colloids, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and BASF Water Solutions. Jonathan established Pennosan in order to bring new, natural, environmentally friendly water cleaning and pollutant-removing products to market. Jonathan is also joint owner of Pennotec (Pennog Ltd), a sustainable products and processes business that is at the vanguard of the Green and Circular Economy. Pennosan’s Water Treatment formulations contain green and clean chitosan products, manufactured from sustainable British shellfish.
