Payment Privacy

Pennosan does not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. All payments are processed through secure payment gateways provided by PayPal.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. This payment processor adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a global forum for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Pennosan is committed to protecting and safeguarding your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection act 1998 and the GDPR 2016). This policy explains how data is used, stored and the individuals’ rights to that data. For individuals wishing to purchase from Pennosan, the following details how we will treat your data.

What we collect:

Pennosan collects data associated with orders, this includes name, contact details, other information that you choose to send to us and order history, information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views). Pennosan does not collect payment information such as card details.

What we do with that data:

Pennosan uses this data to fulfil customer orders including the shipping of products, invoice receipts and analytical reports where follow up is required.

How we look after your data:

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password and firewall-protected) servers. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

Your rights to data we hold:

  • The right to data portability – To be provided with your data in a format that can be transferred to another service.
  • The data subject’s right to access to information – To know where and how the information is used.
  • The right of correction, technically known as the right to rectification – If your data is incorrect, you can request rectification.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

All Prices shown in the web shop include VAT.

By placing your order, you are confirming you have read, understand and accept these Terms & Conditions and agree to sign for delivery of your goods in the correct way by stating OK, Missing Items, Damaged Items or Un-checked. If you have signed for damaged goods, we would expect that you contact Pennosan by e-mail or filling in the contact form as soon as is reasonably possible following receipt of your delivery. Failure to comply with any of the following terms and conditions could lead to additional charges or costs.

Delivery Policy

Shipping and Handling

UK Mainland Orders ONLY

Post and packaging charges are calculated at checkout as follows:
Up to 2 kg  £4.50;     2 kg - 5 kg  £10.50;     5 kg - 20 kg  £13.50.

Trade shipping prices available on request.

All orders will be delivered either by Royal Mail Tracked or by courier and may require a signature. If you don’t think you’ll be available to sign for your delivery you can request the order to be delivered elsewhere (such as a work address) at the check-out stage of the shopping cart.

Delivery Schedule

We will endeavour to dispatch your purchase the same day if your order is received before 11am and in most cases you will receive your order within 2-3 working days. Most orders will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked and may require a signature. Please note that this is not a guaranteed service. Alternatively, we may use a courier services, which will require a signature. At Pennosan we carry a stock of all items advertised within our site and you should allow 2-3 working days' delivery time.

Lost, Missing or Damaged Goods

Be sure to check your items before signing, or sign for your goods as ‘Unchecked’, where possible. We may not be able to claim loss or damage from our couriers if you have not signed as damaged and/or missing items. Any damage, no matter how slight should be noted and signed for as damaged and reported to Pennosan as soon as is practical following the delivery. Pennosan reserves the right to charge for the replacement of damaged or missing goods if you fail to notify such at the time of signing as it may leave us with no claim against our couriers. Delivery charges for any replacements will also be added.

Returns Policy

Pennosan will gladly see the return for replacement or refund of faulty products.

Orders made in error can be returned within 7 days following the day on which you receive your goods if not used.

Any items returned for exchange or refund must be returned in a good condition, unused and in their original intact packing. Please contact Pennosan via email prior to making any such return and we will guide you through the process.

How to Return and Item

Please email sales@pennosan.com and quote your order reference number and we will send you a returns number and either the UK address to send the item(s) back to, or arrange to collect the goods. All returns must be agreed with us first.

If an item is faulty or damaged, please describe the fault in your email in as much detail as possible and include a photo where applicable.

Your Rights and Responsibilities

Your right to cancel an order – The United Kingdom’s Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provides you with a right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of the 14th day following the day after the day on which you received your products. You do not need to give us any reason for cancellation, just return the goods.

Returned items should be unused, in their original retail packaging and in a good, resaleable condition.

You are liable for the cost and expense of returning goods unused and undamaged and we advise you to use an insured method of carriage as damaged boxes will not be accepted. The original cost of delivery will be refunded at the flat rate. Please note we reserve the right to reduce the amount refunded if the goods have been de-valued through damage, including damage caused during transit. Unless faulty, any orders that are accepted for return after the 14-day cooling-off period will be at the discretion of Pennosan and we reserve the right to charge a 30% restocking fee.

Please check your order as soon as you receive it. If there are any discrepancies, you must notify us within 14 days and leave the goods unopened in a resaleable condition until arrangements are made to collect them. Any damage/loss to the goods or their retail packaging will be chargeable.

This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
